Cascadia Seaweed announced the official opening of an advanced seaweed processing facility in Port Edward, British Columbia, on May 14, marking a major milestone in the Company’s development as a vertically integrated seaweed production and biomanufacturing business.

Seaweeds contain natural compounds that when applied to crops stimulate soil microbial activity and encourage root development, allowing plants to access nutrients more efficiently. 

Director of Sales and Marketing Marcus McClure says the goal is not to replace synthetic fertilizers, but to make them work harder. 

Farmers can now access a nationally produced, high-quality biostimulant that supports crop productivity, soil health, and climate resilience!

Cascadia Seaweed has been re-certified as a B Corp with an improved overall score of 113.5, up from 90.4 in 2022. Cascadia Seaweed Accelerates Expansion with First Series A Milestone.
