Our head office is located in the picturesque town of Sidney by the Sea, situated within the traditional territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ People on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, just a 20-minute drive from Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia. Sidney is just minutes from the BC Ferry Terminal in Swartz Bay and the Victoria International Airport. We also have a facility in Port Alberni on Vancouver Island, and we are establishing a Northern Hub in Prince Rupert, BC.
At Cascadia Seaweed we grow local species of seaweed on low-impact ocean farms in partnership with coastal First Nations. We then harvest that seaweed and manufacture agricultural products that help address climate change and food security.
Our BC-based corporation was founded in June of 2019 by three local maritime professionals who believe in building a profitable and scalable business that enhances the natural environment, reverses human impact on the oceans, and provides economic opportunity for coastal communities.

Director of Agriculture Products at Cascadia Seaweed

Cascadia Seaweed is looking for a qualified candidate (able to work in Canada or the US) to fill an important and strategic role as our Director of Agricultural Products. In this position, you'll spearhead the development of a strategic framework for the successful market launch of our biostimulant and agrifeed products.
