Cascadia
Nature-based Solutions
Founded in 2019, Cascadia Seaweed set out to enhance the natural environment and strengthen Indigenous coastal communities.
We recognized that the growing demand for seaweed products could be met by creating local jobs without harvesting wild stocks, vital ecosystems that provide habitat, produce oxygen, and protect our shorelines from erosion.
Today, as North America’s largest producer of regenerative agricultural products made from cultivated seaweed, we have expanded our positive impact to advance climate action, food security, and a thriving domestic circular economy.
Beyond agricultural solutions, we leverage our expertise as a vertically integrated producer and our highly specialized team to deliver seaweed-based tools and insights through our Nature-based Solutions division.
Through all our work, Cascadia remains committed to delivering social, environmental, and economic benefits, using both farmed and wild kelp to drive sustainability and resilience.
