🌎🍃On this World Environment Day, our hearts go out to our fellow Canadians who are suffering from the effects of wildfires. 😔
“For the last ten years, the average area burnt in fires in the month of May, for all of Canada, was 150,000 hectares. This year, in the month of May, in excess of two million hectares has been burnt - 14 times as much,” said Honourable Bill Blair, the Canadian Minister for Emergency Preparedness.
MP Elizabeth May said, “This is not just unprecedented, this is off the charts.”
👟👟Every single step we take towards creating a better world holds immense significance. Whether it's reducing waste, conserving energy, planting trees or kelp, or supporting eco-friendly initiatives, each contribution makes a difference in building a more sustainable future.
Let's stay safe, exhibit kindness towards one another, and maintain a positive outlook. Our collective future relies on it. Together, we can overcome challenges and forge a path towards a more resilient world. 🙏
